Surfer X Blood held the third gathering of the Summer Tease The Good Life Pool Party event’s at the Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and things got Weird in a really Rad way! From a “Big Foot” to an all star line up of entertainment, to the launch Nicole Hanriot’s (Tavik Swimwear Head Designer) brand new Swimwear line Beach Riot. Guantanamo Baywatch from Portland made a pit stop to start the beach bingo party out with an amazing melodic surf rock set that set the tone for the rest of the day. All of us pioneers was partying & thrashn’ in the USA. Then local psych rock legends, The Entrance Band treated the crowd to a brand new collage of downed templed instrumental pysch rock, with the amazing vocals of lead singer Guy Blakeslee having everyone straight out in a melodic trance. Special Guest Nick Waterhouse came out and put on an all 45 dj set that had everyone jumping from soul to rad surf tunes. Surfer X Blood even had the beautiful Tamara Sky (Overthrow/Lil Death) the newly transplant from Miami to put down an all rock indie set, alongside LA’s local favorite dj’s Aaron Castle, Adrian Rodriguez and Nina Tarr.
