The Wayuu Taya Foundation was first created in 2002 to “help improve the lives of Latin-American indigenous communities while maintaining and respecting their traditions, culture and beliefs”. For sale, as one of the ways to raise money for the foundation, these amazing one-of-a-kind bags are all handmade by Wayuu women at the foundations women center.
