We caught up with our friend Kalei who knows a fews things about fitness.
"There's nothing like having a consistent workout program and seeing your body change. Celebrating with a new suit never felt so good! When shopping for a new bikini or one-piece I'm always looking for the type that I can do beach runs, workout or go for a surf and feel supported and secure, not to mention fun and sexy!"
Some of Kalei's favorite exercises...
1. Warm-up with a Plank Walk-Outs as they are great for shoulder mobility and strengthening, you get a nice stretch in the hamstrings and you wake that core up!
2. Next are the good old Side Planks combined with "threading the needle." The core is working hard and Obliques are firing, all the while getting some rotation of the spine. We end with a band with Side Lunging combined with the "Curtsey." This combo we are stretching and strengthening everything from the waist down! Glutes, hips, thigh. With this duo you are hitting it from all the angles.
